The Honor Roll is a comprehensive depiction of the generosity shown by all donors to Georgetown Prep. The report also identifies critical data and financial elements that guide Prep each year.
My letter to you here has just a single purpose – to thank you for all that you do for Prep. We literally could not operate Prep without your generous support, and we certainly could not achieve the daily excellence we strive for without you.
Georgetown Prep is indeed a special place. Our job is to create an environment where the exceptional is accessible to every student. Thank you again for helping us attain this goal.

The PREP Fund is our most important philanthropic effort, enabling us to meet the full cost of a Prep education beyond what tuition revenues produce. Gifts to The PREP Fund bridge that gap.
Your support contributes to a more engaging and rigorous curriculum, robust academic and counseling support, stellar faculty recruitment and development, and a significant financial aid program.
Restricted gifts are designated by the donors for specific purposes to be used for the 2021-22 fiscal year. Restricted categories include Vision Campaign pledge payments, scholarships, memorial fund, and gifts that recognize a specific department of the school such as the library, the International Department or athletics.
Established in 2017, this Fund is used for financial aid to support a student or students who best reflect
the way Michael M. Boland ’12 lived his life. Boland Scholars will be true exemplars of Georgetown Prep
men demonstrating true leadership, fellowship, integrity and love for live. Boland Scholars will be living
examples of the motto “men for others,” serving their communities, friends and family, both on the field
and off. To that effect, special consideration will be given to those applicants who display courage,
determination and steadfast leadership, particularly in the face of obstacles.

The 2022 Spring Gala was back on campus on May 7, 2022 with the theme “A Sky Full of Stars.” Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, car raffle purchasers, volunteers, staff and many others, the Gala netted over $348,600 that directly supported the young men of Georgetown Prep, plus an additional $305,709 raised for The Mary Elise Gribbin Scholarship Fund through the Raise the Paddle. Mary Elise Gribbin is a long-time faculty member of Prep’s Latin Department who decided to retire at the end of the 2022 school year. The Gala chairs were Carlos and Renee Molina ’82, P’15, ’23; Mike and Christy Prame P’21, ’21, ’23 and Mike and Margaret Yavinsky P’22, ’24. Their tireless efforts as well as their creativity and perseverance made this Gala truly a memorable event. Proceeds from this event directly support Georgetown Prep’s academic and athletic endeavors, campus ministry, arts programs, financial aid and continued improvements to our incomparable campus.
Thank you to the corporations and organizations that support The PREP Fund in the 2021-22 Fiscal Year
Georgetown Prep will be reporting on the For The Greater Glory Campaign as of December 31, 2022. We expect the report will be available in early 2023.
Georgetown Preparatory School established the Haas Society to recognize the generosity of all participants in the school’s planned giving programs. The Haas Society honors the late Frederick Haas, Class of 1921 as an example of stewardship, generosity, vision, and faith in our future and our mission. Participation in any of Georgetown Prep’s planned giving programs – bequests, life-income arrangements, and other deferred gifts – automatically qualifies you for membership in The Haas Society.
If you have already included Georgetown Prep in a bequest or other planned gift, please let us know. Your willingness to be listed as a member of The Haas Society encourages others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, however, we urge you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis.
